Not looking for changes. I'll try doing some instead

It's been a few years since I last sat down an wrote on this blog of mine. To be honest, it was an surprise that my blog still existed and I haven't read my old blog post yet. I decided to not delete them. Not going to translate them. They will stay as is.

So where to start. This decade of my life in my 30's is now three years and some change to enter a new level. Round four.

Let's start from my 30th birthday.

I've never felt the need to celebrate my birthdays, at least not every year. I mean, of course I've done something on my birthdays but not hade like an big gathering of friends and family with cake and what not. For me, a dinner or a night felt okey in my book. I decided to try to make an effort one birthdays that are some kind of a milestone. 25, 30,35 and next hurrah will be turning 40th. I mean. These in between years feel pointless to make a fuss about. A year passes by pretty fast and if we look at the sociaty where I'm living in. Sweden. You basically work and wait for warmer days, and when we finally get to feel the warmth of the sun. The whole society wakes up from our rutins. We'll, it speaks for itself. My hometown of Gothenburg is know for our amusement Park, rain and Avenyn (tourist spot I guess) let's leave it at that.

So my 30th birthday was out of the ordinary. I took for the first time a vacation for three whole weeks in a row and my birthday celebrations was in Los Angeles and at Whiskey-a-go-go and The Rainbow bar and grill.

The funny thing was that the trip wasn't planned, or not that I had any plans to travel to the US specially due to me turning 30th. Two friends of mine had book and planned on going one this trip, months before I joined in. It was actually in January when my friend said, why don't you join us. And when he started to tell me about when they are going to fly out, it was the day before my 30th birthday. So it was convenient and by agreeing to join them. I had planned my milestone birthday and the first thing that popped in my mind was. I might have a chance to meet Lemmy from Motorhead. Living I Göteborg, you saw Mickey Dee from time to time at Rockbaren and had talked with him a few times and he is a really down to earth kinda person. Really friendly and polite. Not to mention, one of my favourite bands. So I had one thing in mind when it came to my first trip to the USA. Meet Lemmy and don't care what we will do the rest of the trip. Sadly I never got the change to see Lemmy sitting by the slot-machine, with rom and coke, smoking a fag and playing hours on end. What I can remember. Right about that time it was when his health started to affect his ability to perform and I never got to see them live due to this and that. I thought that I would eventually see them play live so seeing him in person would have been a moment that could have covered all the missed gigs. I was pretty bummed out that he wasn't at the Rainbow so I remember sitting in the first floor of the bar where they also serves food. So I sat with my mozzarella sticks, my mood was a bit of. And what to i see instead, a short, fat ugly guy known for the 19cm bat he carries on all the time. Ron Jeremy strolling in with four blonds. Two girls under each arm. I though... Okey, this ain't Lemmy but still cool. After a while I walked up to Ron and asked if could take a picture with him as it my 30th birthday and kinda cool for a kid from Sweden. He said, of course.. Took a couple of pictures and whent back to our table and joined with my friends. Little later I ran in to Ron again and he said, kid. Follow me..

If you want to know the rest of that story.... Time to guff up some bucks
